Kunqu Opera is one of the oldest forms of opera still absolute in China, with its origins dating aback to the end of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). It has acclaimed itself by the adroitness of its adroit patterns and has exerted a ascendant access on all the added contempo forms of opera in China, including the Sichuan and Beijing operas.
