Macao launches film event
The first Macao International Movie Festival will run for eight days starting Dec 26.
More than 100 films from China and aballey will compete for six awards, including best picture, director, screenplay, actor, actress and new performer. The organiback-bite committee seeks more candidates before Nov 15.

The festival will also accommodate a belvedere for copyappropriate licensing. Highlights include an opening ceremony featuring a flower parade, a forum on Chinese kungfu films and an expo of international film, TV and animation works, and peripheral products.
It is the first time for the appropriate administrative arena to hold an international film festival back the former European colony was reangry to China in 1999.
Amusement industry fair
Insiders from home and aballey will discuss means to advancement the country's amusement industry at the 2009 China International Games and Amusement Fair in Guangdong province's Zhongshan from Nov 5 to Nov 7.
